I was asked to do this months website banner over at Soupa. The inspiration was my interpretation of summertime. Eating rock, deck chairs, ice cream, and wasps. They're all there!

Thanks to everyone who helped put the show together, you did such a fantastic job. The Hertfordshire Stand looked brilliant. It was great to see lots of people there enjoying the show, and it was a great experience to be part of New Blood 09.

Carlos grew up in a typical new town in the south of England. Uninspired by his surroundings he turned to creating his own reality. Infusing his tremendous knack for drawing with many influences such as graffiti, Spanish comics, toys, 80's cartoons, and early video games. His highly original way of working is referred to as 'Pop Surreal'.
